This is a quote from Rachael who suffers from panic attacks. Her comment alone makes me feel better, because unless you suffer from panic attacks you could never imagine the pain that the person endures. Here is her quote:
"In reality I think that anyone who lives with panic attacks or agoraphobia everyday is incredibly strong. Life can seem like a constant struggle but we plod on, we keep on trying. We are faced with so many obstacles like social events, difficult family situations on an on-going basis." Every thing is a strugggle beyond any ones imagination. The smallest of things to those afflicted like having company, going away from their home, being away from family, cooking, cleaning, taking care of yourself personally are chores almost unaccomplishable to those afflicted."
"People with panic attacks are by far some of the most intelligent people in the world according to scientists research. Those who are less intelligent are unlikely to be afflicted with this disorder."
I guess it is nice to be intelligent, but I'd rather be stupid and not have this crippling disease that makes everyday another nightmare.
